Profile of Mr. P.Krishnamurthy, EX-CGM, RBI
Mr.P.Krishnamurthy was Chief General Manager of RBI, retiring recently. A banker turned central banker he has worked with RBI for more than three decades. In his association with RBI he has worked in various capacities in different departments responsible for banking policy, supervision of banks and non- banking finance companies, forex reserve management, domestic exchange rate management and debt market operations. In his long career, most of his time has been spent in forex reserve management and exchange rate management as Chief Dealer of RBI and he later headed the Financial markets Dept. He was associated with several committees more specifically those responsible for introducing rupee options, interest rate futures and redefining LAF mechanism. He was the Chairman of the committee which evolved the OTC derivatives reporting frame work introduced in June 2012.
He was on deputation with Central bank of Oman as advisor on Reserve management .As consultant to IMF he was associated with assignments to bring about changes in exchange rate management practices in specified domains .
He is a postgraduate in science, MBA in Intl Banking and Finance from UK and alumni of Kellogg school of business, US and an Aldington fellow.
Currently he is engaged as an advisor.

Mr. R. Ramesh has nearly 25 years of direct Markets experience. 18 years ( Citibank ) and 6+ years Founder ( aialgos )
He holds a PGDM from IIM-Ahmedabad; a Grad of Institute Cost & Works Accountants of India and a Commerce-graduate from Univ of Madras.
After a solid stint in Financial Control – moved to Citibank Treasury in 1996 and has rich trading experience across Money Markets, Rates, FX & Equities. He was the custodian of CitiBank’s India Liquidity. His was a driving member of ALCO & Investment Committees. He ran the bank’s ALM Book for over 10 years. Was Head of Algorithmic Trading desk before deciding to set-up own business.

Profile of Mr. Arjun Parthasarathy
Arjun Parthasarathy has over twenty five years experience in financial markets. He has worked across platforms of fund management, proprietary trading and research and across segments of equities and fixed income. Arjun has worked with reputed institutions including Citigroup, IDFC Mutual Fund, Sundaram Mutual Fund and IDBI Bank. He has done his MBA from University of Hull UK and MA in Economics from the University of Poona. Arjun has authored the book, The Rich Investor, published in 2012.

Profile of Mr. Ashish Ghiya
Ashish Ghiya is the Managing Director of Derivium Tradition (India), India’s largest inter-dealer broker of Govt. securities, corporate bonds & OTC derivatives, and also leading arrangers of institutional & corporate debt. He is actively involved in consulting & training for developing interest rate and currency derivatives risk management systems with various banks, insurance companies, mutual funds, PSU institutions & corporates, onshore & abroad.
His prior experience includes managing the proprietary interest rate and cross currency trading and structuring for banks including Deutsche Bank, HDFC Bank & ICICI Bank.
His areas of expertise is risk management, valuation & consulting for institutional debt & currency market participants.
Ashish Ghiya has also been a part of various regulatory committees like RBI’s Technical Committee on “Introduction of OTC and exchange traded Interest Rate Derivatives”, RBI’s “Rupee-Dollar Options” committee, CoBoSAC Committee of SEBI and various research publications of World Bank & ADB on developing Indian debt markets.
Profile of Mr. Amitabh Mohanty
Amitabh Mohanty was till recently the Head of Debt Strategies at Reliance Capital Limited. In this role, he was responsible for driving various debt related initiatives of Reliance Capital Limited and its subsidiaries. He was also responsible for various on-balance sheet debt exposures of Reliance Capital. He moved to this role after spending more than 7 years with Reliance Capital Asset Management Ltd. as Head of Fixed Income. He is a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager with almost 19 years of experience.
In a prior assignment, he had a six year stint with Alliance Capital Asset Management Ltd. as Vice President, in charge of fixed income assets. He started his career in SBI Funds Management Ltd. where he was Deputy Manager responsible for managing fixed income schemes.
He is a management graduate from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad from the 1996 batch and holds an electrical engineering degree from the IIT, Roorkee.
Profile of Dr. Vidya Mahambare
Dr Vidya Mahambare is currently Associate Professor of Economics at the Great Lakes Institute of Management. Prior to joining the institute, she was a Director and Principal Economist at CRISIL, a global analytical company proving ratings, research and policy advisory. Earlier, Vidya was with Cardiff Business School, UK, from 2001 to 2005 where she had moved after completing her doctorate from Lancaster Management School, UK. At Cardiff, she taught courses related to international economics, microeconomics, modern business enterprise, and econometrics. During the same period, she was a research associate at Liverpool Research Group in Macroeconomics, UK.
Vidya has, to her credit, a string of domestic and international academic research publications, in addition to a regular stream of articles released in media. Her research articles have been published in journals such as Oxford Economic Papers, Transnational Corporations, Journal of Quantitative Economics, Indian Economic Review and Economic Intelligence. In 2005 she published her co-authored book ‘Should Britain leave the EU? – An economic analysis of troubled relationship’.
Vidya is a regular columnist for leading newspapers in India and has written over 65 op-ed articles in leading newspapers including Wall Street Journal Asia, Times of India, Mint, Business Standard, Indian Express, Hindu Business Line, and Financial Express. Sashi Krishnan is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Birla Sun Life Insurance. He joined the organization in December 2011 and has a rich experience of 25 years in the Mutual Fund and Life Insurance industry
Sashi has done his BE (Hons.) in Chemical Engineering and MSc (Hons.) in Economics from BITS, Pilani. He also has a Diploma in Management from IGNOU with a specialization in Finance. In addition, he has also done CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Bankers.
He has an extensive experience in Equity and Debt Markets. Prior to joining BSLI, Sashi was the Chief Investment Officer at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company where he managed Assets over Rs 42,000 Cr. Besides leading the Investments team and being a member of the Investment Committee, he was also involved in product design and provided sales support.
His previous assignments include leadership roles with DBS Bank (Singapore), DBS Cholamandalam Asset Management Ltd and Unit Trust of India.
Sashi is the Member of the Index Policy Committee of India Index Services & Products Ltd and, also was the Co Chair of Life Insurance Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He has also served as the Member of the Financial Planning Standards Board, India in 2004-2006.
