Indian corporates raise Rs 1.2 trillion in Private Placements of Debt in December 2020.

During December 2020, 161 issuers in total have raised Rs 1200 billion through private placements. JIO Digital Fibre has raised Rs 253.42 billion by issuing 3 bonds. NHAI has raised Rs 120 billion by issuing 2 bonds with 16- and 20-years maturity at spreads of 58 bps and 35 bps respectively. RKM PowerGen has raised Rs 85.97 billion by issuing 3 bonds. HDFC Ltd. has raised Rs 75 billion by issuing 2 bonds with 1-years maturity at 114 & 90 bps, respectively.
